Tap & Go eLai See Reward Terms and Conditions
  1. By participating in the Promotion (See clause 2), you agree with the following terms and conditions.
  2. The Promotion (“Promotion”) starts from 17 January 2023 to 1 February 2023 (both dates inclusive) (“Promotion Period”).

    Promotion 1
    Customers who have successfully applied and activated Tap & Go Payment Service (“Tap & Go”) for the first time during the Promotion Period (“New Customers”), successfully completed (1) digital ID verification and (2) sent eLai See for at least HK$1 successfully via Tap & Go eLai See function to eight (8) or more Tap & Go customers or recipients who registered Faster Payment System (“FPS”) (“Eligible Conditions”) (“Eligible Customers of Promotion 1”), will receive HK$88 Tap & Go stored value reward (“Reward 1”). Each New Customer (counted with a valid Hong Kong Identity Card number) can enjoy Reward 1 for once only.

    Promotion 2
    Existing customers of Tap & Go who have successfully applied and activated Tap & Go before the Promotion Period (“Existing Customers”) and New Customers who successfully fulfill the Eligible Conditions during the promotion period (“Eligible Customers of Promotion 2”), will receive HK$18 Tap & Go stored value reward (“Reward 2”). Each Existing and New Customer (counted with a valid Hong Kong Identity Card number) can enjoy Reward 2 for once only.

    Reward 1 and Reward 2 are collectively referred to as (“Rewards”). The Eligible Customers of Promotion 1 and the Eligible Customers of Promotion 2 are collectively referred to as (“Eligible Customers”).

  8. If Eligible Customers’ Tap & Go Mastercard accounts is invalid at the time the Reward is issued, the Reward will not be issued and the Eligible Customers will not receive any compensation.
  9. Rewards cannot be used in exchange for cash, gift, service or discount, and the use of Rewards is subject to the terms and conditions of Tap & Go. For any inquiries about Rewards, please call Tap & Go Service Hotline at 2888 0000.
  10. Unless otherwise specified, the Reward cannot be used in conjunction with any other promotional offer, discount or cash coupon, and are non-transferable.
  11. Those who violate the rules of the Promotion by any illegal or fraudulent behavior shall be disqualified from receiving the Reward.
  12. In circumstances of any system, server, connection failure, interruption, computer virus, network or technical error which causes or results in the loss of Reward to an Eligible Customers for an eLai See transfer and/ or applied and activated Tap & Go, HKT Payment Limited (“HKT Payment”) is not liable for any losses or compensation.
  13. For any information and any timing in relation to this Promotion, the data collected by the server of HKT Payment shall prevail. HKT Payment shall not be responsible for any delay, loss, error, indiscernibility of the information you submit due to technical problems such as computers, communication tools, networks, or any other problems that are not within the reasonable control of HKT Payment.
